# NorvexaLink Sustainability & Governance: Responsible Sourcing Principles

NorvexaLink approaches sustainability as a disciplined operational commitment focused on supplier transparency, packaging rationality, and long-term ethical partnerships.

## Environmental Claims Transparency Notice
In keeping with European anti-greenwashing directives (EU Green Claims Directive), NorvexaLink does not make unverified net-zero status or carbon neutrality claims. Our focus is on practical, verifiable supply chain improvements on a contract-by-contract basis.

## Five Core Pillars of Responsibility

### 1. Responsible Sourcing Principles
We seek to engage with manufacturers who demonstrate clear adherence to local labor laws, fair wage practices, workplace safety standards, and environmental regulations.

### 2. Supplier Transparency
We advocate for full disclosure of production facilities, sub-tier contractors, and raw material provenance so commercial buyers can assess compliance against their own corporate ESG criteria.

### 3. Efficient Commercial Coordination
Optimizing container space utilization and pallet layout reduces empty cargo space, thereby decreasing greenhouse gas emissions per transported kilogram of product.

### 4. Packaging Rationalization
Encouraging suppliers to replace single-use non-recyclable protective plastics with certified corrugated alternatives and recyclable strapping wherever product protection allows.

### 5. Continuous Improvement
Recognizing that sustainability is an iterative process. We review feedback with partners after each trade cycle to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and compliance.

## Honest Accounting: Commitments vs. Aspirations

### Current Operational Commitments
- Mandatory sanctions, trade embargo, and denied-party screening on all counterparties.
- Verification of supplier business licenses and legitimate tax registrations before trade engagement.
- Encouraging multimodal rail and short-sea shipping alternatives within European transport corridors.

### Developmental Aspirations
- Working toward standardized Scope 3 freight emissions estimates for regular trade corridors.
- Expanding partnerships with third-party accredited ethical auditor networks.
- Developing a comprehensive supplier ESG questionnaire for recurring wholesale accounts.
